ART as a playful Pursuit – a new approach.
My paintings are created intuitively.
Although I consciously turn away from realistic depictions, recognizable forms emerge during painting. I often take these and deform, decompose or partly paint them over again with further abstract forms, colors as well as luminosity or design. Sometimes though, I let what is supposed to come. Then it has a legitimate place in the painting. I found this interplay between the figurative and more expressive abstraction and almost sketchy representations exciting. Due to the dynamically positioned elements, the overall appearance resembles a narrative. It allows the observer to savor the infinite horizon of its own fantasy and at the same time to interpret its own story.
The overpainting, deformation and decomposition of the forms by hand brings something liberating with it and the connection to my heartbeat most clearly, as if I wanted to break the ‹forms›, resp. limitations, that I have imposed on myself. And so I create a whole new story.

My paintings are created intuitively.
I paint people and experiences. However, I do not strive to create images and «paint» them as realistically as possible. I make visible what remains hidden from the eye of others, but is important to me. Without rating. That’s why I do not paint portraits, they are rather caricaturistic depictions of people. I perceive a gesture or hand movement or the gaze of a person and so it appears in my paintings. It happens by itself. Transcendent.
It may well happen, purely by chance, that the people in my paintings resemble the real people, but perhaps one recognizes oneself only by the gestures, the posture or by a certain striking features.
My paintings are to be understood symbolically. Only from the interplay between different characters, as they are positioned in the picture, through gestures or the gaze, that it creates a whole picture. At the same time, this creates a dynamic that seduces the observer to take a closer look at the image. The spontaneous, but often also dominant presence of individual colors have an additional narrative function, on the one hand luring the observer into the picture and then triggering the most diverse reactions and associations. The pictures are decorative, often striking due to the dominant coloring.
Sometimes the messages in my images are subtle and delicate, but can also be quite direct and aggressive. Touching and rousing.
I offer the viewer the opportunity to deal with various human, sometimes difficult, topics. When you face a topic, you heal it at the same time. Transformation.
«So if I manage to touch as many people as possible with my painting in order to counter the sometimes rugged, dark and a large emergency industry for insecure people with a world of new hope, then I have achieved my goal». Mystical and healing.

between mind and heart I share the belief that the body gets sick when the soul lives a life that is not meant for it. Most people have learned to make only rational decisions, because society dictates, because we have been conditioned, because we have beliefs within us that were once valid. Without wanting to blame anyone. Most people have forgotten how to hear what the heart has to say. It gnaws. Women are more affected by patriarchy than men - still. Abuse of all kinds. It hurts the heart if you don't listen. Sometimes we have to make decisions that neglect the heart, but if it takes too long, it gets sick. And breast cancer is one of those diseases.
